Art auction and cocktail party was held at the National Gallery of Australia in October 2003.

Guests enjoyed a guided tour of the Peter Fay Collection (by Peter Fay), followed by drinks and some bidding on silent auction items. The audience heard from collector Peter Fay, Dr Brian Kennedy (NGA director) and Australian entertainer Toni Lamond.

Auctioneer Bill Williams then took to selling the live auction pieces: Wendy Sharpe, Robert Boynes, Graham Fransella and Anna Eggert.
